A tour of Manhattan, then Philadelphia.

Philadelphia and Amish country
Philadelphia's historic centre and the Liberty Bell, then Lancaster County and its Amish farms, where people still live without electricity, before Washington.
Day 5
Washington – Fayetteville
The federal capital: the White House, the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the National Mall and its memorials, and the Georgetown district. Drive to North Carolina.

Charleston, Savannah and Saint Augustine.

Charleston's historic centre, its colourful houses and cobbled streets.

Savannah – Saint Augustine
Savannah, its squares shaded by oaks and Spanish moss, then Saint Augustine.

Space, the swamps, the Keys and Miami.

Saint Augustine – Kennedy Space Center – Orlando
The oldest town in the country, then the Cape Canaveral launch base, its rockets, the Atlantis shuttle and the NASA IMAX film.
Day 9
Orlando – Everglades – Miami
The Everglades, a vast marsh of grasses and mangroves, by airboat to meet the alligators.
Day 10
The Keys and Key West
The Overseas Highway, a road built over the ocean from island to island, to Key West, Hemingway's house and the sunset on Mallory Square.
Day 11
Key West – Miami Beach
The Art Deco district of South Beach, Ocean Drive, the street art of Wynwood and Little Havana.
Day 12
Miami – flight home
Free time depending on your flight, then transfer to the airport and fly to France.
