2. Data we collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide, through:

  • The trip request form: first and last name, email, phone number, preferred dates, number of travellers, indicative budget, destinations of interest, and any accompanying message.
  • The contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject and message.

We do not collect any banking or payment data — the site does not offer paid online booking.

3. Why we use this data

This data is used exclusively to:

  • Respond to your request and send you a personalised trip proposal;
  • Follow up on your file before, during and after your trip;
  • Improve the quality of our communication and services.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (GDPR Article 6.1.b), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is accessible to our team, as well as to technical service providers strictly necessary for the site to function (sending confirmation emails, hosting the site and its database), all bound by a confidentiality obligation and only using your data to carry out the service entrusted to them.

Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Retention period

Data from a request that doesn't lead to a booked trip is kept for 3 years from our last exchange, in line with the French data protection authority's (CNIL) guidance on commercial prospecting. Data linked to a booked trip is kept for as long as required by our accounting and legal obligations.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site may use Google Analytics to measure site traffic on an anonymised basis. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can configure your browser at any time to refuse cookies.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as a right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@globaleexploretours.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) if you believe your data is not being processed in accordance with the regulations.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
