Up to the Great Wall at Mutianyu by chairlift and down by toboggan (or chairlift). A stop at the 'Bird's Nest' Olympic stadium.

A free day, meals on your own, to discover the city at your own pace.

The Terracotta Army and a free day.

Beijing – Xi'an by high-speed train
A free day, then the high-speed train to Xi'an.
Day 7
Xi'an and the Terracotta Army
The pits of the Terracotta Army, several thousand soldiers lined up in battle order for the first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. Back to Xi'an and its city walls.
Day 8

About 6 h 15 by high-speed train to Shanghai.
