Tokyo – Hakone by Romance Car
The Romance Car panoramic train to the Mount Fuji area, then a night in a ryokan.
Days 6-9
Three days in Kyoto and a night in a monastery.

Hakone – Kyoto by Shinkansen
Shinkansen to Kyoto. A free afternoon.
Day 7
Kyoto, free day
A free day: the Zen garden of Ryoan-ji, the Golden and Silver Pavilions, the Philosopher's Path, Nishiki market or the Arashiyama bamboo grove.
Day 8
A day trip to Nara
Train to Nara: Todai-ji and its great bronze Buddha, Kasuga-taisha shrine and its lanterns, the free-roaming deer.
Day 9
Kyoto – Mount Koya
Train to Mount Koya, the great Okunoin cemetery and a night in a monastery.
Days 10-14
The floating torii, then the neon lights of Osaka.
Day 10
Mount Koya – Hiroshima
A vegetarian temple breakfast and the morning prayer, then train to Hiroshima.
Day 11
Hiroshima and Miyajima
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, then train and boat to Miyajima island and the floating torii of Itsukushima shrine.
Day 12
Hiroshima – Osaka
A free day: Osaka castle, the Kaiyukan aquarium and in the evening the neon lights of Dotonbori and Kuromon market.
Day 13
Osaka – flight home
Transfer to the airport and fly to France.

Arrival in France
