Tbilisi
Tbilisi, its old town with wooden balconies, the sulphur baths, the Narikala fortress and the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Day 3
Sighnaghi – Tsinandali – Telavi
Kakheti: Sighnaghi and its walls, the Tsinandali estate and a tasting of wine made in clay jars, then Telavi.
Days 4-8
The Military Road and Kazbek.
Day 4
Alaverdi – Ananuri – Gudauri
The Alaverdi monastery, the Gombori pass, then the Ananuri fortress on its lake and the resort of Gudauri.
Day 5
Stepantsminda – Gergeti
Stepantsminda and the Gergeti Trinity Church, perched facing Mount Kazbek, 5,047 metres.
Day 6
Mtskheta – Gori – Uplistsikhe
Mtskheta, the former capital and cradle of Georgian Christianity, Gori, then the cave city of Uplistsikhe.
Day 7
Tbilisi
A free day in Tbilisi: the Dry Bridge flea market, the national museum or Mtatsminda park.
Day 8
Back to France
Transfer to Tbilisi airport and fly to France.
