The Roman city of Jerash, then the Dead Sea, a float and a night on its shores.
Day 3
Madaba, Mount Nebo – Petra
The King's Highway via Madaba and its mosaics and Mount Nebo, then Petra.
Day 4
Petra, the rose city
A full day in the old Nabataean capital: the Siq, the Khazneh (the Treasury), the royal tombs, the theatre and, for the bravest, the climb up to the Deir (the Monastery).
Days 5-8
The desert, the Red Sea and the capital.
Day 5
Little Petra – Wadi Rum
Siq al-Barid, 'Little Petra', then the Wadi Rum desert, a 4x4 safari and a night in a Bedouin camp.
Day 6
Wadi Rum – Aqaba
Drive to Aqaba, on the shores of the Red Sea, and free time by the water.
Day 7
Aqaba – Amman
Drive to Amman, a capital built on seven hills, and its citadel.
Day 8
Amman – flight home
Transfer to the airport and fly to France.
