The House of Dionysus, the most famous of these villas, spans over two thousand square metres of mosaics depicting mythological scenes of remarkable precision, notably the triumph of the god of wine and the legend of Narcissus, works that testify to the artistic refinement and prosperity of the city under Roman rule.
