Arrival in Lisbon
Flight to Lisbon, welcome and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2
Sintra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais
The royal palace of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the continent, and the seaside resort of Cascais.
Day 3
Lisbon – Fátima
Lisbon: the Alfama and its tram 28, the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower, and pastéis de nata. Then Fátima.
Day 4
Óbidos – Nazaré – Batalha
Óbidos, a walled village of white houses, the port of Nazaré and its giant waves, then the Gothic monastery of Batalha.
Days 5-8
Coimbra, the Douro and Porto.
Day 5
Coimbra – Aveiro
Coimbra and its old university, then Aveiro and its canals.
Day 6
The Minho and the Douro
The green Minho and the Douro valley and its terraced vineyards.
Day 7
Porto
Porto, its Ribeira quays, the Dom Luís bridge, the Lello bookshop and a tasting in a port cellar.
Day 8
Back to France
Transfer to Porto airport and fly to France.
