Days 1-2

Cairo is explored from Gezira Island, a cosmopolitan district in the middle of the Nile. The first day is for the Grand Egyptian Museum, opened at the foot of the Giza plateau.

Arrival in Cairo

Flight to Cairo. Welcome on arrival, help with formalities and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

The Grand Egyptian Museum

A visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, a short walk from the pyramids of Giza, and its collection of objects from ancient Egypt.

Giza and the pyramids

Days 3-4

The Giza plateau brings together the three great pyramids and the Sphinx. The visit is rounded off with the inside of a pyramid and the mastaba of a grand vizier.

Day 3

The Giza plateau and the Sphinx

Visit the Giza plateau and its pyramids: Khufu, the largest of the three, Khafre and Menkaure. Continue to the Sphinx, a stone lion with a human head.

Day 4

Cairo – flight home

Free time, then transfer to the airport according to your flight time. Optional, mornings only: a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
