Day 1
Flight to Bali
Flight to Denpasar, Bali. Dinner and night on board.
Day 2
Arrival in Bali – Ubud
Welcome at Denpasar airport by your driver and transfer to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, between rice fields and jungle. Check in at the hotel.
Day 3
Jatiluwih and Lake Bratan
The UNESCO-listed rice terraces of Jatiluwih and their traditional irrigation system, the subak. Continue to Bedugul and Ulun Danu Bratan temple, set on the lake.
Day 4
Kintamani and Besakih
Drive to Kintamani and the rim of the caldera, more than 13 km across, dominated by Mount Batur, an active volcano, with its lake below. Lunch facing the view, then Besakih, Bali's mother temple, on the slopes of Mount Agung.
Day 5
Mengwi, Sangeh and Tanah Lot
The royal temple of Taman Ayun in Mengwi, surrounded by moats and UNESCO-listed, then the nutmeg forest of Sangeh and its monkeys, and Tanah Lot temple, on its wave-beaten rock, at sunset.
Day 6
Ubud, free day
A free day in Ubud: the Tegallalang rice terraces, temples, art galleries, a dance show or simply the calm of the hotel. Meals on your own.
Days 7-12
Four nights in a 4* hotel a few minutes from the beach.
Day 7
Ubud – Sanur
A last morning in Ubud, then transfer south to the beaches of Sanur. Check in at the seafront hotel.
Day 8
Sanur, free day
A free day in Sanur, Bali's oldest beach resort: sandy beach, calm water and a seafront promenade with a view of Mount Agung. Meals on your own.
Day 9
Sanur, free day
