A journey between Dublin, a literary city where the Irish folk tradition was born, and the Cliffs of Moher, plunging over two hundred metres straight into the Atlantic Ocean.
Stretching nearly fourteen kilometres and rising over two hundred metres, the Cliffs of Moher rank among the most spectacular coastal landscapes in Europe. On a clear day, the view stretches to the Aran Islands and the mountains of Connemara — but it's often on overcast days, when clouds skim the cliff face and the Atlantic rages below, that the site reveals its full raw power.
In the pubs of Doolin and Galway, the traditional music session is never scheduled in advance — local musicians simply gather around a table with fiddle, bodhrán and Irish flute, and play for the joy of it rather than for an audience. This informal tradition, passed down by ear from generation to generation, remains one of the best ways to understand the Irish soul, far from organised tourist shows.
