A journey that sweeps Morocco from north to south — the scholarly medina of Fez, the red city of Marrakech and the High Atlas, the windswept town of Essaouira, then the bay of Agadir to finish in style, between surfing, yoga, and doing nothing much at all facing the ocean.

Days 1-3
The journey begins in the oldest of the imperial cities, between centuries-old madrasas, overflowing souks, and a first mint tea taken on a terrace at sunset.
Day 1
Arrival and terrace tea
Check-in at a riad in the heart of the Fez medina, a courtyard adorned with zellige tilework and a fountain at its centre. The rest of the day unfolds gently, mint tea served on the terrace at sunset, a view over the city's rooftops and the muezzin's call to prayer in the distance.
Day 2
Spice markets and rugs
A guided half-day through the medina, between vividly coloured spice stalls, Berber rug shops where every pattern tells a story, and leather workshops still tanning by methods thousands of years old. The afternoon stays free, for getting lost — on purpose — in the largest car-free space in the world.
Day 3
Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss
A full-day excursion to Meknes, an imperial city with monumental gates, then the Roman ruins of Volubilis and its mosaics still visible in the open air. A last stop in Moulay Idriss, a holy town perched across two hills, before returning to Fez by day's end.
Days 4-6
After the scholarly north, on to Marrakech's effervescence and the cool air of the nearby High Atlas — a contrast that alone sums up Morocco's diversity.
Day 4
A long road and an evening hammam
A long and beautiful road to Marrakech through the Middle Atlas, cedar forests and switchback passes, arriving as night falls. A relaxing hammam closes the day, black soap scrub and an argan oil massage to rest the legs after the journey.
Day 5
Souks, tagines and snake charmers
A full day in the Marrakech medina — colourful souks, steaming tagine stalls, and Jemaa el-Fna square, which transforms at nightfall into an open-air theatre, snake charmers, storytellers, and Gnaoua musicians included.
Day 6
A hike in the High Atlas
A full-day excursion into the nearby High Atlas, a guided hike between Berber villages and cultivated valleys, with a traditional lunch at a mountain lodge — slow-cooked tagine and a view of the peaks to close the day in style.
Days 7-8
Atlantic wind and Portuguese ramparts: Essaouira offers a welcome contrast after the bustle of the cities, between a blue-and-white medina and a still-thriving fishing port.
Day 7
Transfer and dinner at the port
A transfer to the coast and check-in at a guesthouse a stone's throw from the ramparts. In the evening, a dinner of fish and seafood just landed, at a small restaurant by the fishing port, among blue boats gently rocking.
Day 8
Wind, spa or lanes
A day to design as you please: a windsurfing lesson on one of North Africa's windiest bays, a relaxing moment at the guesthouse spa, or a wander through the blue-and-white medina, between art galleries and marquetry workshops.
Days 9-12
The journey closes facing the ocean, in the great bay of Agadir — four nights to finally slow down, between surfing, sunrise yoga, and lazing on the beach.
Day 9
Settling in facing the bay
A transfer to Agadir and check-in at a hotel right on the sand, the wide bay open to the Atlantic. No plans for this first evening — just the sound of the waves and a terrace dinner to mark the start of this final stretch.
Day 10
A first surf lesson
A surf lesson with a local instructor on one of the Atlantic coast's most consistent waves, suited to every level. The day ends watching the sunset from the beach, board still under your arm and salt dried on your skin.
Day 11
Yoga facing the waves
A yoga or meditation session at sunrise, mat laid directly on the sand, the sound of the waves the only metronome. The rest of the day stays deliberately free — a nap, some reading, or simply time to let the journey wind down gently.
Day 12
One last day facing the ocean
A final day with no other plan than to enjoy the beach and the pool, before the transfer to Agadir airport. Twelve nights that, from the scholarly north to the open ocean, will have shown Morocco in all its diversity.
