Morocco
Three faces of Morocco, from the red city to the Atlantic
Morocco
A condensed Morocco in three movements: Marrakech's lively medina, a night of silence in the Agafay desert, the cool air of the High Atlas, then the salty wind and blue-and-white ramparts of Essaouira to close the trip gently.

Days 1-3
The journey starts where Morocco's heart beats loudest — overflowing souks, Jemaa el-Fna square and its storytellers, and a quiet riad to land between two bursts of effervescence.
Day 1
Welcome to the red city
A private transfer from the airport to a riad in the heart of the medina, a flower-filled courtyard and central pool. The rest of the day has no fixed plan — time to settle in before setting out, from tomorrow, to explore the city.

Day 2
Souks and haggling
A guided tour of the medina and its themed souks — leather, spices, wrought-iron lamps — with a guide who knows the right addresses and how to haggle. The afternoon ends with a traditional hammam, black soap scrub included, to rest the legs after a day of walking.

Day 3
Market, tagine and a night on the square
A morning market visit with the riad's chef to choose the day's ingredients, then a private workshop to prepare your own tagine. In the evening, head to Jemaa el-Fna as night falls — grilled skewers, Gnaoua musicians and storytellers, in an atmosphere unlike any other square in the world.

Day 4
Less than an hour from Marrakech, the mineral aridity of the Agafay is a world away from the city's bustle — the perfect place for a pocket of silence, between a quad-bike ride and a night under canvas.
Day 4
Quad bikes and a private camp
Setting off by quad bike from Marrakech, rocky tracks and gentle climbs to the Agafay desert, the Atlas' snow-capped peaks in the background. Check-in at a private camp for the night — dinner by the fire, live Berber music, and a sky that fills with stars as the night deepens.

Days 5-7
Barely an hour from Marrakech, the valleys of the High Atlas offer an entirely different climate — olive and almond groves, Berber villages, and a mountain lodge to slow the pace.
Day 5
Settling in at altitude
An early departure from the desert camp to reach the valleys of the High Atlas. Check-in at a mountain lodge tucked among olive trees, where the air noticeably cools — a welcome contrast after the desert heat, with time to enjoy the garden before dinner.

Day 6
Berber villages by 4x4
A 4x4 and on-foot excursion to Berber villages clinging to the slopes, between cultivated terraces and clear-water springs. A traditional lunch at a mountain lodge, slow-cooked tagine and mint tea served with an open view over the valley.

Day 7
A day at your own pace
A free day at the lodge — the pool, mountain biking, or a horseback ride through the valley, whichever suits. One last calm moment before hitting the road toward the Atlantic and an entirely different landscape.

Days 8-10
Atlantic wind, Portuguese ramparts and a blue-and-white medina on a human scale — Essaouira closes the trip on a quieter note, between beach and artists' lanes.
Day 8
Heading for the Atlantic
The road to the coast through gradually changing landscapes — argan trees, then the first whiffs of sea air. Check-in at a seafront guesthouse, a stone's throw from the ramparts that earned Essaouira its nickname, "the windy city."

Day 9
Wind, waves and blue lanes
A day to design as you please: a kitesurfing lesson on one of North Africa's most renowned bays, a horseback ride along the beach, or a wander through the blue-and-white medina, between art galleries and thuya-wood marquetry workshops.

Day 10
One last sea breeze
One last morning facing the ocean, coffee on a terrace with seagulls for background noise, before the transfer to Marrakech airport. A trip that, in ten nights, will have crossed nearly every face of Morocco.
